Depends on the age but I’m pretty sure babies under 1 aren’t meant to have any honey
Under a year, make something else. The botulism risk is too great
No honey to any child under the age of 1, if they are over 1 years old it's absolutely fine
She’s 8 nearly 9 months
I thought that was the case just wasn’t sure if it was cooked in it if it was still the same.
I’d make something else. Honey carries to much bacteria for infants under 1 years old
I’ll do her a sausage or a chicken breast or something instead. I just didn’t even think I just did it how I would always do it🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
No, still a risk even if cooked as the bacteria that poses a risk survives cooking/freezing. Once they're a year their gut biome is developed enough to not pose a threat
Eh I mean yes something else if you can. But for our kids we completely forgot sometimes like honey ham at thanksgiving or had it in some teriyaki chicken we have. So they definitely had it but we stopped when we remembered. If she’s already had some they will most likely be fine. But if you can make something else then do that
No I’ve done it for dinner tonight so she’s not had it yet. I’ll defo do her something else. Thank you all.
How old? Because of the honey; Under a year, make something else. Over a year, it's fine.
