Struggling with weaning

My 7 month old is showing interest in food and pretty much try’s anything I give him But I struggle to keep a constant time of day for food I’m on my own pretty much all day and I struggle to feed myself sometimes I realised a lot of the other mums have partners that work from home so can get some support at lunch time I hear other mums who’s babies are trying all sorts of things and I’m here trying to get purées in some home made some pouches I am just worried I’m not introducing enough blw and things that are thicker than puree (scared of choking) Not sure what I’m asking here just feel guilty and like I’m letting my little one down anyone else feel like they aren’t as consistent as they want to be or any advice on how to progress the weaning journey on my own

If you are worried could you try using the store bought pouches and jars to help you get over the concern of choking. As they slowly introduce thicker/ chunkier textures. You could just put the puree in pots you don't need to faff with pouches.

I used pouches from 4 months. My little boy and girl have both had these and don’t see an issue at all with these. They have fruit yoghurt pouches for lunches or after tea, they really enjoy it. Plus it’s a lot easier for us mums, I don’t see why I would stand there cooking these perfect meals for them not to eat! Iv don’t this a lot 😆 haha! She was on 7months pouches a lot quicker than we thought a lot chunkier. Try getting the ones with less pasta in them for starting and then use them, x
