Missing my Maria

Hello! Im a new mom who just gave birth on the 21st of April! After having my baby, a little girl who I named Maria, I decided to make the decision to put her in voluntary foster care. I'm an NYC mom who is in the shelter system and I have schizophrenia, I want my baby of course, I just need the time to get my mental health better and to get my housing and a stable income, I know I made the best decision for myself and her and I should be getting housing very soon, I just miss my little girl so much. This is my first night back at the shelter and I want to see my baby :(

not a lot of mother would’ve done what you’ve did!!!! You’re such an amazing mom and don’t worry you’ll be back with herrrr❤️ let god take the wheel and have faith and just trust your doctors to help you get the best help so you and your babygirl can be back together 🫶🏼!!

I’m also in a shelter so i understand the shelter system is extremely stressful and draining and not to have your babygirl there .. you’re so strong you got this 🫶🏼
