Is your child in childcare already?

Little man starts nursery on the 7th for two days a week. I’m nervous but I know it’ll be good for him socially and mentally.

I go back to work in June and will be sending my son to a childminder twice a week, feel nervous about it but I know he will be in good hands x

Mines been going since 6 months old. I hate sending him. People say it's good socially but I'm not so sure because at this age they don't actually play with other kids anyway. I've read a lot how isn't good before like ahe of 2. However, I had no choice. I was skint. He does Monday 12-6 Wednesday 3-5:45 Friday 3-5:45 When he turns once he will do Monday 12-6 Tuesday 3-5:45 Wednesday 3-5:45 Thursday 3-5:45 Friday 3-5:45 I try to make th most of the time I have when he is with me. He don't really have much screen time. He sits and plays with his toys and I play with him. Go out. I only work term time for half terms I try do day trips and such too

3 full days since 7 months. He loves it, took 2 weeks for him to settle but now he gets to mix with others, do different things, eats different things and spend time with anyone that's not me.

My baby started this week and will do five full days 8:30-5:30. I do wish she could do shorter days or only three/four days a week, but I don’t have that option as I need to work full time. But I don’t feel too bad about it. I will miss her, but I don’t think it will be bad for her in principle. I know lots of children who went to a childminder/nursery full time and they are fine.
