Daycare questions!

Just a momma to one who’s 2. Throwing around the idea of daycare because our current babysitter (family member) we’ve had to butt heads more than a few times because of said person stepping over boundaries and then when talked to about it being told we are overreacting. But yall I am TERRIFIED of the thought of daycare, especially nowadays with stuff all over the news. Just recently just in the town over a 4 yr old was found walking down the road because she wondered out of daycare. There was another incident where a baby never woke up because she was given a bunch of melatonin. I wish I could be a SAHM but sadly can’t afford it, I just need to vent and maybe some reassurance from one momma to another ❤️ thanks for listening to my ted talk haha 🤣

All depends on your choice of daycares. I love ours! We get picture updates all day/ food updates/ potty. Love the lady who runs it. She doesn’t take any crap and is super serious about safety. It’s fort knocks to get in and out of the daycare and all the teachers have been awesome. My 2 year old loves it there! Always running to get in to play. I toured a few in home daycares and that concerned me a lot more. I had a nanny until she was 15 months and she’s been at the daycare ever since.

Get an in home nanny. Have cameras in your house. I really wouldn’t send your child to daycares given how unsafe they’ve been.

I would love one like that. I know my son would love the other kids

I work at the daycare my daughter goes to. I’d just recommend finding one with cameras you can view if you’re that worried.

My daughter has been in daycare since just after six months. She is over two years old now and still in daycare. I’ve done the home daycare and corporate daycare. Let me know if you have any questions or message me!

My girl just started daucare about a month ago to get her to be around other kids and to help since I work from home with a 4 month old. She absolutely loves it. The teachers are always posting pictures in the app which make me feel so much better

My daughter (2yrs) has been in daycare for almost a year and she absolutely LOVES it. We call it “school” and she gets so excited to go every morning. She plays with friends and learns so much! I toured SO MANY daycares until I found one that I know would work for us. They send us updates and photos and it is wonderful. I think the only downside is the price, it can get expensive 😭.
