Work from home legit ?

Hi someone saw a post of work from home on an app called neighborhood and I reached out and went ahead to they ended up asking me they’d pay off my outstanding balance on my credit card$437 and then I’d purchase a $500 Apple Card to purchase equipment and software I’m a little nervous to proceed.. it seemed legit but there’s been a couple things that I’m questioning
