EPU

Hello… looking forward advice. I’m currently 4weeks pregnant and had 2 previous losses. I spoke to my GP this week which referred me to EPU for early scanning because I want to get progesterone prescription since my home testing around 6-9DPO was showing low numbers. I want to do everything I can to avoid another loss, but the NHS doesn’t seem to care. Checked my NHS app and saw this message from EPU to my GP. I’m not bleeding, and I’m hoping I don’t, but I do wanna an early scan and progesterone prescription before it’s too late. Everything is pointing me to go private which I’m trying to avoid but looks like it’s the only way. Has anyone been in a similar situation and can advise please?

i would have gone back to gp if i don’t grt the support, all the very best dear

I already did. And they won’t see me unless I’m bleeding or with pain. 😒

GP won’t give me progesterone either. Spoke to them twice.

Tell them you are in pain. That’s how the system works

I have lots of progesterone leftover, let me know if you want it.

just in case you need to go private, i have seen dr. alex swanton in past. he wroks from circle hospital and one more hospital in reading
