Terrible periods after second baby?

I exclusively breastfeed and with my first I didn’t have a period for a year ; now with baby 2 I got it back at 3 months and I’m miserable , I bleed so much and am a emotional trainwreck the entire few days before and duration of my period , thankfully my cycles are like 32 days long but omg that is still too many days a month to be a wreck. I can’t stop crying and I keep thinking about any possible way to get a break from my life ( not really like a way out, just like leaving for a few days 😂) and I feel insecure in my marriage for no reason and I just want snuggles and my husband hates when I’m all irrationally emotional and so I don’t even know what to do or how to handle these extremes. I also get nausea and really bad back aches and cramps

This is a freaking nightmare someone please tell me this stops 😢 I can’t stop crying and my 3 year old called me crazy mama over and over when my husband got home from work just now and I feel like I’m genuinely going to crash out

Oh my gosh this kinda happened to me too after my second baby. I noticed my period symptoms got to be so much worse than ever before. Honestly I started seeing a therapist and at least that helped to give me someone to vent to other than just my husband because he’s like yours where he doesn’t really know how to handle when I’m upset very well.

I'm the same way. I had my 2nd, breastfed for a year, got my period 10 months in. Super heavy, super painful, all over the place mentally and physically. The doctors recommended birth control. I decided on the pill which made my depression and anxiety sky rocket to the point I often through about what it would be like to crash my car. Obviously I never did and after getting a phyc eval and realized how fucked up I got I stopped taking the pill and now they are even worse. And we are doing tests and waiting a few months to see if I have PMDD and other issues 🙃. So I recommend going to the doc and see what they say and maybe go on a birthcontrol that works for you ❤️ i hope your periods get better soon
