Potty training hell
Boy, 3 in August. He was loving the potty idea and decorated his potty, sat a few times. Now he hates his nappy off and he will be hysterical if I try and go nappy free or potty pants, shorts, undies. Stickers , treats nothing works. He's not afraid of potty, but it seems like he hates the feeling with no nappy and freaks out. Also, bath time, he screams to put nappy back on. I hope this is just a phase 😕

Have you tried him on the toliet with a little seat on. I put my son on the toliet and he gets excited flushing it etc. He prefers that and often refuses to sit on the Potty. I know it makes it abit more do Difficult, but you can get Pottys which look like proper toliets if he likes that? Just an idea 😊 x

Why don’t you use pull up nappies while he is transitioning? I did this with me 3 year old when I potty trained her…I would just get her to pull down her nappy ( pull ups) 40 mins after she drank something and sit on the potty for a few mins and she would usually pee and after 6 months of this…we transitioned to wearing underware and out of pull ups
