@Vicki I don't have insurance, I do have savings I could use. From what the vet said chemo would not guarantee anything and put her through discomfort. They didn't give us any timeframe on how long she would have, or when we would expect to see her health decline. She's acting very normal.
Could they not amputate the foot to stop the spread? I’m so sorry to hear this. It’s all about their pain tolerance and quality of life but if she’s okay for now I would leave her be. You wouldn’t be able to get any insurance at this point and there’s no guarantee the chemo would work unfortunately. I can’t imagine how heartbroken you must be❤️
@Bethaney they said it's not in the bone so wouldn't take the foot 😞
So sorry to read this 💔 our girl ended up with cancer but she was 20 years old and declined very rapidly so I'm not sure there's much I can offer in terms of help but just wanted to say my heart goes out to you, it's devastating.
@Rebecca sorry to hear 😞 thank you for sharing your story
@Gemma I hope you can find a treatment plan that works for you and kitty and gives you as much time together as possible ❤️
I don't have any advice but I'm sending you all our good vibes! 😘
My in laws spent about £6k on chemo and it only gave their cat another 6 months! Do u have insurance which would cover costs? Or is the price not a problem?
