Girl you’re doing your best. If it works for you it works for you 🩷 lol
Food doesn't belong in the bathroom
Nothing wrong with that . We make the best out of the tools that’s given. Continue to do you mama 👏🏼 it’s working out for you so dont fix whats not broken
@Ellie why not tho lol
What I like to tell people who have a different perspective.. Personally, it's not for me but hey, if it works, it works! If it works for you, do your thing
I mean, I can just imagine soggy food with mine 🤣 but if it works and they actually eat compared to not eating then why not
Guys it's not like I set up a table and offer a whole meal lol. Nothing gets soggy I just feed him some oats or something. Sometimes I'm just so exhausted and that'd why I do it to keep sane lol
I wouldn't do it, but everyone does things differently. I've never actually heard anyone feed breakfast while the kids in the bath how does this even work? lol what if they choke? my kids too busy playing with her bath toys haha
I wouldn’t do it because I don’t think food should be in the bathroom but you should do what works for your family !
Yeah girl I think you’re wrong on this one😭 If your baby is in the bath, they need your full attention. I understand it may feel like your child is safe, but drowning can happen in 20 seconds and only takes a few centimeters of water. It’s also a huge chocking hazard to eat in the bath. For the safety of your child, I really recommend stopping this before something bad happens:(
This can’t be real…
Girl do you don’t listen to nobody ✨
Why’s everyone voting yeah. Like she’s genius lol
@Melanie LMAO exhausted single mom ⚡👋

I don't disagree with moms who say no. I'd say totally no too but I'm so exhausted mannnn and came home late last night from playing because I had to tire him out and I was trying to keep sane as a SM. Ik I don't have to explain myself but sometimes it's so crazy and lonely and my mental health is suffering but I love my son so much, I just do some unusual things once in awhile maybe it's to keep things interesting LOL. I don't make a habit of this obviously. I mean I would eat strawberries and snacks in the bathtub myself if I ever had time for self-care again
Bathrooms have a lot of bacteria no matter how clean it is.
I completely understand where you’re coming from. You deserve some relaxation time and self care too. It’s just the eating in the bath part that’s unsafe. As adults, we can snack in the bath bc we know how to chew/swallow and swim/float if need be. If your baby thinks it’s okay to eat in water, they could do so when you’re not around and that’s when the accidents happen. Is there anyone you guys could call or facetime while he’s in the bath? That way you’re not lonely and it makes sure you’re 100% focused on your little one (i’m so easily distracted by my phone lol). as for self care and time for yourself, does your little one have a playpen or baby proofed area where they can play on their own? I throw on some Little Einstein’s and give her a few books or toys and that gets me at least 30 min of uninterrupted time. Hang in there girl you’re doing amazing and you’re not alone🫶🏻
What a strange thing to do, and tbh I feel its quite dangerous?!
@Melanie bc it says “am I wrong”
I wouldn't breastfeed in a bathroom let alone eat in there , i do agree with some other mums maybe not a good idea ,what about getting one of those things that they wear and it prevents getting food on them ..like the ones you use when they paint
I personally wouldn't I kinda think that's disgusting but you do you. If I knew you in real life I'd still be your friend 😆
@DC💙🩷💜 lolol
@Holly no no. I don't mean have a full meal while they're in bathtub! It's more just feed him spoonfuls of oatmeal or pasta while he's standing there playing with water in a bucket in shallow water and I'm sitting on a tiny chair beside him lol
Never thought to do this. Whatever works!
@Ciara yeah I don’t think she’s wrong 🤷♀️
I have done this been in a rush and times slim, I've spoon fed cereal in the bath, whilst breastfeeding an infant. Sometimes you improvise, as for safety I sat right there the whole entire time, it's unhygienic my bathroom is probably more sanitary than some of the restaurants people eat in. Well done for feeding and washing your child 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 there are parents that do far worse that would require the intervention of external agencies.
I have FaceTimed my bestie once and her kids were in the bath eating but her defence was that we were meeting at 11 and she didn’t have time to both feed and bath them so she did it at the same time LOL I Ft her and she’s got a spoon in her hand feeding the kids 😂 I have no opinion I mean do what works but I’m just saying I KNOW someone’s who’s done this it’s not always, only when she’s running late or has come home late LOL
Not an everyday thing for sure, but I’ve done it before if we’re rushing. I don’t like him eating in the car
If this is the worst thing you do as a mom, then you’re the best mom in the world. You don’t need validation from strangers, keep doing what works for you

Maybe on occasion for fun? Mindful eating is best. if you're pressed for time, you can shower with your toddler but do what you need to do!
This is amazing 😂😂 you do what works for you! My little one does baths after dinner and before bed cause that's what works for us but this multitasking breakfast and bath is amazing 😂
I don't understand why you couldn't do those things while they're in a high chair?
Kind of unhygienic sounding
One time as a child I snuck a bag of cocoa puffs in the bathroom with me while I took a bath. I accidentally dropped them in the water and turned my bath chocolatey it traumatised me so reading this gave me flashbacks 😂
@Ellie Food belongs in a stomach a child never had the intervention of CPS/SS because they were Occasionally fed in the bath supervised. Some people have bathrooms and don't wash their kids Some people have kids and don't feed them adequately
It's the only time I can read my damn daily reader and check msgs turned away from him Am I wrong ??? I mean what if I set him up to associate bath or shower (I lower the shower head for him he loves it) with food all the time?.
