Hungry

How are we combating breastfeeding hunger? I am so hungry ALL the time. I go to sleep and I’m hungry. I wake up and I’m hungry. I finish a meal and I’m hungry. I eat small meals multiple times a day and I’m hungry. I eat 3 big meals a day and I’m hungry. I eat healthy and I’m still hungry. I eat whatever I want and I’m hungry. It’s insatiable. I feel like I’m constantly eating or hungry. I drink 2 Stanleys worth of water a day, as well as other drinks. Pre-pregnancy I was a size 10, and I’m now an 18-20. I can’t stop. Any tips or tricks?

I have no advice, but same. I feel like I could eat at all times. 🥲

No advice. I was 237lbs before pregnancy and all throughout pregnancy. Didn’t gain a single pound. Dropped to 202 after giving birth. I was so excited. I was told you lose weight breastfeeding. Etc. Fast forward to 8m postpartum and I’m back up to 235 😩

@Alana I went from 140lbs to 190lbs and I am feeling it 🥲 I can’t go running because my boobs are so heavy and I can’t find a sports bra to keep them in place. But I walk every day, at least 5-6 miles, and I’m still gaining weight like???? The sheer amount of food I am consuming is difficult to burn off

No advise, I just ignore the hunger, if its not a meal time i just dont eat. The only thing for me that gets rid of the hunger is to eat some cheese, so I just make that part of most meals or snacks

@Sian oh I feel that. I wear a nursing bra under a sports bra. I have a zipper sports bra. Like it zips on the front. I think it’s under armour. It’s not perfect but I can at least get on the peloton without knocking myself out or crying in pain. 😂

I made sure to always have big breakfast, lunch, and dinner which helped. I had to stop buying snacks tbh🤣 Be kind to yourself though because you are burning a lot of calories/energy while breastfeeding that your body probably wants to get back!❤️❤️

I looove Tribe Protein Bars. I have one before I brush my teeth at night and often one first thing. They make me feel more balanced/ fuller for longer. And I try to eat big healthy meals. But am also a bit addicted to chocolate right now 🙈
