Help with deciding about running away today with kids

I really need help I wanna run away today with my kids because I’m tired of my partner being so verbally abusive towards me and my kids I have several voice recordings and videos of him saying very mean things to us. I’m afraid to go to a women’s and children shelter because I won’t be able to afford my own apartment with my kids because I can’t work because of my disability what should I do?

Do you have a friend you can stay with? I’m sorry this is happening.

If you go to a women’s shelter, they will help you find shelter, and you can most likely receive money to help with that expense of having a place to stay

If you’re ready to go- go, I would talk with the police or the woman’s shelter or resources that you have in your area

It’s SO scary, leaving. But babe, it’s NOW or NEVER. Go, and don’t turn back. You and your children deserve a better life and you aren’t doing yourself any harm by taking your kids and leaving. You are saving yourself, and your children. Go to a shelter. They will help you with the problems you’re running into, that’s what they’re there for. @Macdalia hi yes I applied for disability a couple months ago I’m waiting for approval I wonder if they would let me stay at the shelter till I get approved for the disability SSI
