I’m not scared of flying because I will die, I’m terrified of flying because I’m claustrophobic 🤣 the doctor gave me some medication but didn’t help me I was still feeling the same. Now I’m scared of flying with my daughter just because I can’t, I can’t take care of myself being claustrophobic, imagine flying with a child too. Before having a family you were not scared of flying? I think you love your children so much, and the idea of flying scares you. You will be fine, travel with your children, enjoy your time with them 💕
The plane crashes you’re seeing lately are not commercial. They’re small planes, helicopters, etc, and the media is blasting it on television to be scared of planes because they simply don’t want people leaving the United States, because let’s be real, who the hell would come back?
If you can afford to, do a fear of flying course. I did one with British Airways about 8 years ago. I went from crying from the moment I set foot in the airport to the moment we landed to actually being really excited about getting on a plane, relaxing on the plane and sleping. I even flew 11 hours completely on my own which I absolutely would never have done before. I would go as far to say I genuinely love flying now xxx
I never used to worry, and I hardly went/go abroad anyway. But this year we are going to America, and I am scared. I think my anxiety is worse after having my son and also i am taking him on the plane.. so i feel guilty taking him on a plane too 😕
I’ve started to get anxiety about flying too since having my son just so you know, you are not alone! I think pushing through is the best way forward though - breathing exercises, distractions and thinking of the positives such as the family bonding and new memories you’ll have once you get to your destination.. good luck!💛
I hate flying but live to travel so try my best to deal with it. I look at the statistics of car wrecks vs plane incidents and think about how much I’m in a car. On takeoff and landing + during any turbulence I do square breathing, and if I’m sitting next to my husband squeeze his hand
Nah because you’re more likely to die in a car than a plane…so I don’t fear plane. Like yah, you can die but statistically speaking it’s WAY higher every time you get in your car.
