Chlamydia during my 2nd pregnancy
I’m currently 31 weeks pregnant. About a month ago I tested positive with chlamydia. My husband and I just recently got married a year ago but have been together for four years. I tested negative for chlamydia with my 1st baby. That was about two years ago..
My husband swears up and down he hasn’t had any sexual contact with anyone sense we’ve been together. He even said didn’t have sex a year before he met me.
I’ve read chlamydia can lay dormant and has flare ups depending on your ammune system. He’s told me his ex wasn’t faithful and cheated a lot and he had scares in the past with her. I guess I’m just wondering if anyone has dealt with this before. He said he’ll take a polygraph test so I scheduled one and so far he hasn’t changed his mind. I’m just so lost and confused and wanted to see if anyone has ever gone through this before.

Chlamydia can stay hidden in men for years. If you tested negative for it before then sorry to say, you’re not the problem.

So sorry this is happening to you! Unfortunately if you were tested 2 years ago and it was negative that most likely means you’ve contracted in the last two years. If you and your husband were exclusive and he’s the only one you’ve had sexual contact with since then, then he is the only way you could have contracted it.
