Stomach sleeping

My baby has started sleeping on her side and stomach. She’s 8.5 months old. Is this safe to leave her in this position?

As long as she can roll both ways, it is considered safe.

The rule is to always place them on their back to sleep until 12 months of age. If they get themselves into a different position you do not need to move them back.

My 6 months old rolls over during sleep, she doesn’t know how to roll back over. She sleeps in her crib alone. She will start crying because she can’t roll back over.

As long as you put her to sleep on her back and she gets herself in that position, it's completely fine. My 5 month old is a belly sleeper. As long as they can roll it's safe.

If she can roll that way they say it's ok..... usually they roll on their backs before they can roll on their tummy

My baby was rolling onto her side and front to sleep way before that age, I just left her to it tbh

As soon as mine learnt she could be on her front in the cot what's where she wanted to be. If they can get themselves their they can get themselves back

My baby’s been sleeping on her belly all night long since 5.5 months old and she’s now almost 7 months. I put her down on her back and within 2 hours she’ll roll over, sometimes straight away.. nothing I can do about it, I can’t be staying up all night rolling her back every time she rolls and she sleeps much better on her belly for some reason

My little boy won't sleep any other way it's fine 🙂
