Sleeping
Does anybody else’s baby thrash around in their sleep at night time? My little girls sleeps soundly on me, as soon as I put her down, her legs and arms go wild and she grunts. This means I can’t sleep as she keeps me awake and I’m constantly checking on her. Please help! One tired mama here

It could be gas! Mine has been struggling with this for a couple of weeks as she's learning how to fart. I think our arms are so comfy they are less bothered by it. As she is getting better at farting I hear her thrash, a couple of toots and she settles herself again Never thought I would be so proud of a baby farting 😂😂
Mine does the same and wondered if it is active sleep or gas as her eyes are closed but then letting out lots of pumps. I’ve ended up with her on my chest at 5am as she was doing it for so long last night 💤

Mine does the same!! I think it’s because she wants to be held but it’s exhausting. It takes me ages to get her down

I’m the same. Baby woke today for feed at 4am. Every time try to put down even though she’s asleep in my arms she wakes up and tells me off until I pick her up. I think it’s just phases of needing us more and needing reassurance. If they’re just in active sleep, so asleep but moving around and happily enough, I play white noise to help us both be a bit distracted to get some sleep. Hope this helps x
