Sleep troubles

Has anyone around the 10-12 week mark found that sleep has suddenly become very challenging? We had started to get into a good routine 8-11 weeks with good 4/5 hr stints in the next to me, quick night feeds and LO settled really easily either with patting/hand on chest or even occasional soothed herself. We have now had three nights of very hard bed times, cries as soon as she is put down in the cot and twice has woken 30 mins later and won’t settle back in the cot or if she does she keeps startling back awake but will sleep absolutely fine in bed next to me. My first born self settled from a very young age so this is all new to me and I’m not sure what to do!

I feel like I could have written this myself 🤣exactly what I’ve been experiencing for the past week with our little girl who was 12 weeks yesterday! My health visitor said all very normal and as usual ‘just a phase’! Just keep on persevering with nighttime routine x

We’ve just been through a tricky period with naps and bedtime, it seemed to resolve last night but it’s coincided with LO being an a grump all day as well. According wonder weeks he was in leap 3, and there’a a growth spurt around this time as well so I’ve put it down to that. My NCT group babies are all experiencing the same thing!

So interesting! We were away from home both nights which I don’t think helped at all as she is super aware of her surroundings - tonight we had bed time with no crying or stress so let’s see what the night holds! On the plus side of it all I do love the night time cuddles if I end up having them! Good to know it seems to be fairly common as I was worrying something was wrong!
