cut nipple
i’ve been breast feeding for 4 months i’ve been really lucky not to have any problems along the way. about a week ago little one scratched my nipple and it’s been so so sore & pain to feed and pump ever since. i’ve been using lanolin and the lanolin cooling pads nothing seems to be helping. i’ve even tried exclusively pumping off the sore boob and her feeding off the other!! helppp in so much pain

Allthough I just read this only happened a week ago, so maybe it just needs a bit more time to heal while feeding off the other and only pumping this side to keep your supply, but have this gp info in your back pocket if no change soon x

You can get silver cups which can help healing too!
Silver cups are definitely a game changer! I got them & would leave them on for a couple of hours with a bit of my breast milk in there too. Don’t wear them all day though, because it being moist too long can actually make you feel a bit sore

Hey, I would go to your gp for a swab to make sure it’s not infected. Mine never healed because it was infected with a staph infection and I needed antibiotic cream to heal it. Once I had the cream it healed, the pain lessened and I could feed off both again x
