Birth review/ maternity notes request
Has anyone requested for both of these and is it better to have my notes and get a good read of them first before asking for a birth review or does it matter? Also in the belfast trust when you request your notes is it paper copy or online via the app?

You can have paper form sent out to you th online papers delete after 30days so best to get paper form sent to your address
I gave birth in the Royal. I requested my notes by emailing RMHMedicalLegal@belfasttrust.hscni.net and someone got back to me with a form to fill in on the computer. I got my notes posted fto me a few weeks later. You have to request the birth review before one year. I requested it at 9 months postpartum and just completed the review at almost 17 months postpartum because there is a 6-7 month waiting list.

I never requested my maternity notes but I know for a birth review it has to be requested and completed before your baby becomes 1. The notes are a paper copy for the Belfast trust
