Struggling to have time to do much in the mornings

Anyone else? My little girl is a slow eater so we usually do lunch just after 11 in order to try for a 12pm nap. How is there time to go out and do things before this??

I’ve been wondering the same thing. I just don’t know how to make mornings easier. The time we’re ready it’s apart time for her lunch 😭

We get up around 6am in the morning. Have breakfast at 7am and leave the house by 9am to get things done in the morning. Come back home around 11am/12pm have a quick snack with a bottle of milk and then have a nap. Once awake we then have dinner. It’s easier to have dinner after their nap x

It’s the same with us too. Always thought whether it’s easier to do lunch after nap but we’re in a solid routine of lunch before now… and nursery also do lunch before 🤷🏼‍♀️

I do lunch after nap. On non nursery days I do milk at 7.30, breakfast at 8.15 ish, then we are ready to go out around 9am. That give us 3 hours before she falls asleep in the car on the way home. Around 11 I’ll give her a banana and a sandwich or a yoghurt pouch usually on the go eg in the buggy or on a park bench or in the shopping trolley. Then we’re in the car around 12, she falls asleep, put her up to bed and I do lunch around 2.15. Ps nursery do lunch before, at 11.30am. But it makes no difference whether its a substantial snack or a lunch, little ones dont know the difference
