@Sydney its too small theres not enough room
My mum slept downstairs just so me and my 5 siblings could have a room, you don’t have to justify why you share a room with your daughter you do whatever works best for you right now🩷 maybe have a talk and see what ideas she has too and you can both figure it out together! Also check on Pinterest. You’re doing great!! Xx
@Holly she wants her own bedroom which obviously i understand that so do i lol but its hard to get a 3 bedroom x
@Sophie as someone who grew up sharing a room with older sister and my mum. The privacy needed was never given. I would ask your daughter what she wants and needs. It may be that you have to sleep downstairs on a sofa bed if you really want to give her, her own room and space when she’s there. Then she doesn’t sleep there use the room yourself
Who sleeps in the 2nd bedroom?
Do you have a dining room or office?
@Anita my son, hes 12 and my daughter is 10
What about a mid sleeper for your daughter, curtains around the bottom, beanbags light, TV to create a space for her and your bed the other side of the room
Maybe just create a ‘false wall’ use room dividers
