Beds

Is anyone’s lo in a single bed now? I’m looking to get lo in her own room , we currently cuddle to sleep on our bed (floor bed) and transfer to cot but she always ends up back with us early hours as she’s rolling into the bars and waking herself up then cries out for more cuddles. I’m thinking about getting her a floor bed / Montessori style bed frame for her room so we can still cuddle to sleep then easily roll away, and she does move helll of a lot! They only seem to do these in single bed sizes.

We have our little one in a toddler floor bed. We got this one! She's been in it from 14 months and loves it! https://treetale.uk/product/kids-bed-floor-bed-falco/ We thought about safety too. We have a retractable gate across the outside of her door too as she can open the door so when she gets up she can't run all over the house. She can open it as it opens inwards and call for us but she can't exit the room. Nothing is in her room except her bed and chest of drawers which is child locked and attatched to the wall. Socket covered too with a locked cover box we got from etsy so all very safe! Our girl hated her cot. She was in with us too til Christmas. Cot was just constant. As soon as we laid her in it she'd wake up. This has been a godsend. We can lie and cuddle her to sleep then roll away and sneak out! Perfect! Good luck!

My son has a single mattress on the floor for now and that works really well as I can cuddle him to sleep and then leave

@Janine oh fab! I’m glad it’s working for you! I love the cuddles but she wriggles so much I’m not getting any sleep at all at the moment, especially with the sleep regression 😬 That bed looks great 😃 Have just ordered the socket cover on Etsy , thanks for the recommendations :)
