Bio oil has been a god send for me, but yeah if the itching is not isolated to those areas and is more all over definitely speak to your midwife x
Wait really? I just thought it was normal, I got midwife Thursday, scan on Wednesday xx
More concerning if it was your hands and feet but worth mentioning to the midwife just in case. When it's your bump it's probably just the skin stretching
@Robyn my right palm has been itchy few times but I wash my hands alot and there very dry 😬
I’d call your midwife. I had itchiness and called as I knew it was symptom to look out for and was told to go in straight away for a blood test and the results showed it was due to raised ALT/ Bile Acid levels which meant there was a problem with my liver function, it’s known as cholestasis. I’ve been monitored closely since with regular blood tests and a growth scan to check the levels didn’t raise/ to make a decision of if I’d need an induction.
They say it’s mostly itchiness on your hands and feet but mine was all over and not so much on my hands and feet 🤔
I’ve heard menthol cream is helpful, second everyone else though- get your bloods checked LFT’s especially x
Could be PUPPP common pregnancy rash .. i have it and its unbearable although i’d still get your liver checked incase its linked to that..my liver biles showed as normal x
As Georgia recommends menthol cream is great. Midwife recommended it to me as I’ve been itchy since like 18 weeks. I used to get extreme itchiness all over and it really helped calm that but it does make you feel cold. So go light at the beginning 😂 my boobs are still itchy but I just put up with it
I use aveeno cream for sensitive eczema prone skin
Have you told your midwife? It can be a sign of a liver problem in late pregnancy so i would get it checked out asap just in case xxxx
