Child benefit
Hi there is anyone receiving a top up of universal credit ?
Is child benefit seperate or is it included in the universal credit claim?
We both work by the way before anyone jumps on this negativitly.

Yes you apply via gov website. If you do it through your government gateway account it processes quicker usually. You’ll need babies birth certificate to apply x

They might backdate the claim by a little i can't remember if it's 6 weeks or 3 months x

Child benefit is separate but when you work out what you’re entitled to it will include child benefit in the overall total. but that’s not paid via universal credit if that makes sense? X
