Nuby insulator flask

Does anyone know how long the flask keeps boiling water hot for? I’ve seen different answers online so unsure 🤷🏽‍♀️

I didn’t feel it lasted very long, not to be hot enough for making fresh bottles anyway. I purchased a thermos flask instead as they stay hot enough for around 18 hours

I find my Nuby flask stays hot for a while personally - I always put a fresh boiled kettle in last thing at night and wrap the flask - by 8am it’s still hot enough to make her morning bottle (granted I do go to bed late) but I’ve never had issues with it when out and about and those things xx

thank you! I just need it to last me about 4 hours if that! When you say you wrap the flask what do you wrap it with / in??x

Avatar

Oh 4 hours I’ve definitely found it’s definitely still boiling! Anything really, a blanket, towel xx

brilliant thank you!! I saw some people online saying it didn’t last more than 2 hours so I was panicking a little but that’s great thank you xx

I recommend thermos flask! but I always “pre heat” the flask just to ensure it stays hotter for longer.
20/30 mins before I leave the house, I add boiling water and let it sit, then just before I leave I empty it out, add a fresh lot of boiling water to take with us! Seems to keep hot above 70 degrees for about 5/6hrs

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

Self settling

Any tips or advice of how to teach 6.5month old to self settle? I’m up multiple times in the night to cuddle her back to sleep and put the dummy in. I understand she will wake up and want a cuddle etc but any tips on self settling would be appreciated 🥰

Baby losing weight

Hi all, it's been a long time since I had a baby (my son is 15!). My daughter is 10 days old and was 9lb born, she has since lost weight at every appointment and is at a 12% loss. I am breast feeding every two hours for over an hour and topping her up every feed. I pump and can get 60ml in 10 minutes so I know my supply is okay. Anyone had this before? Can give me some tips? I currently feel like I'm letting my baby down.
