@Lauren you’ve got this!! May I reach out to you for support to or just chat? I don’t know a whole lot of people who’ve had C-sections!
@Hannah yes, of course. Feel free to message me, I can’t see waves. But drop me a message! Xx

I’m 12 days pp. trying to find a balance and juggle 2 toddlers and a newborn while recovering. It’s hard!
It does get easier! I’m seven months pp now, but still remember that first week… after week two I could stop taking pain killers routinely and only took them occasionally, you’re nearly through the bad bit x x

I’m a bit further along, 7 weeks pp - it gets easier, promise. I’m also not a FTM, but my 2nd was my first c-sec
I’m a year postpartum but I’m preggo again. It gets better. I couldn’t sleep on my stomach till about 4 months pp.
It definitely gets easier, as everyone else is saying but please don’t feel pressured to rush it. I was back to normal after a week, going places, doing things, going for walks etc and I made myself and my recovery worse and struggled longer because of it. I felt the pressure to go back to normal, but then when I went back to normal all I got was “wow, I didn’t do anything for the first 6 weeks!” Gee thanks, so I pushed myself just to find out no one expects it and everyone just chills for 6 weeks focusing on themselves 🙃
I’m 7 weeks PP I didn’t sleep in bed until I was 3 weeks pp because I couldn’t get up and down from bed. My husband and I hunkered down in our living room coach the first few weeks. Every week it gets easier but always listen to your body I went on walks often to keep my body moving but if I felt discomfort I’d go rest. It definitely gets easier right now the only thing I occasionally feel is soreness in my lower stomach
I had my second c-section back in December and it was a rough recovery for me, took me nearly 2 weeks to manage my pain, especially with having a newborn and toddler to keep care of. Luckily my spouse was able to take Pat leave for 9 months so I’ve had extra help with caring for our 2 kids:) as baby gets older it will get easier, try to sleep when baby sleeps so you can recover and take any help that is offered to you!
@Bailey I’m almost 3 weeks in and my pain is phewwww.
Hey, I’m FTM 3 weeks and 5 days PP. it is tough, but I’m just slowly starting to feel like myself again. I’ve lived in PJs since surgery (c section), and I actually got dressed today. I promise mama, it does get better! Though, it is very tough and recovery is not easy.
