it’s all developmentally normal as they explore and learn about their hands, everyone told me my first was teething from 3m because she was dribbly and she didn’t get teeth until almost 9m, a big tell tale sign for us is really rosy and hot to the touch cheeks when a tooth is cutting through xx
Yes ‘teething’ signs can start this early but it doesn’t mean a tooth will cut through. The teeth do a lot of shifting around under the gums and it can take weeks/months to reach peak teething and eruption. My girl had gums & teething signs like this from 9 weeks and got her first 2 teeth at 4.5 months. From 3+ months we used Ashton’s teething powder if we thought it was particularly bothering her and also had no idea when to expect a tooth as was first time. My boy was born with almost teeth - the bottoms are just sitting under the gum but not actually cut through. He’s 8 weeks now snd nothing yet and so even though you can sometimes see something it still can take a while for eruption to occur.
I think so? Going through the same thing right now, hope all is well, I know it's hard but you're doing fantastic!
