So tired of my 4 year old ripping my blinds

I have replaced blinds and the current set are taped up. Right before he purposely ripped one, I said get out of the window please. He was previously told that he cannot be in the blinds. I don’t have curtains and I thought he would pull them. I don’t know what to do. So frustrated.

Can you pull them up just so he can’t reach them?

What was his consequence the first time he did it?

@KAM yes great idea! It’s just facing the street front of the house, which doesn’t give privacy. It is also beside my bed so it has been easier to get to at times. I have to figure something out with how to cover the window. Because everything can be reached. This all goes along with working on appropriate consequences and trying to get him to follow instructions, which I know is not the easiest at his age. I notice when he is hungry he acts out which I can get but it hasn’t always been the case.
