Baby never happy.

I feel like my daughter is never happy. She constantly cries, hardly naps and when feeding she starts to cry. I went to the ER and said she was fine but returning home she cries again for hours. I’m becoming numb to everything and it’s just frustrating that I don’t know what’s wrong with her. I’m constantly juggling with her twin and older sister. Idk what to do.

Have you tried a warm bath

My son is like that sometimes I feel the best thing to do is walk with them in your arms try to distract them from what’s upsetting the change what they’re seeing sometimes it’s just something simple as that. Or you can place them in a fuzzy blanket and cover the back of their head and rock them gently on your chest. Sometimes they’re just overstimulated I know it’s frustrating sometimes but you got this!

Gas? Reflux? Hungry? Cold? Diaper? Over tired? My baby hates a wet Diaper. Even after just 1 pee, he wants it changed. He also has had a hard time passing gas and pooping. Which is a common newborn thing, where their little brains haven't made the connection to their tummy/bums to coordinate the process, so they fuss. It just takes time. He also likes to be warm. House at 70 and still in full jammies and a blanket. Which is hard for us, as we like a cool house. And an over tired baby/toddler won't sleep. Which is crazy to think about. You'd think tired = sleep, but it doesn't for littles. And ironically, my baby who likes to be warm, likes to sleep outside. So we bundle up in the stroller and go for walks, or let my 1yr old play outside while baby sleeps. He will do a good 4+ hour stretch outside. Scandinavian countries actually have their babies sleep outside regularly.

Trying a chiropractor!

Mylicon has been my saving grace to soothe a gassy/cranky baby

My mother in law was a constantly crying baby. She later learned she has intolerance to a lot of foods. Is she formula or breastfed? Maybe changing formulas or changing your own diet if breastfeeding would help. I'm sorry you're going through this and sorry that thr ER wasn't much help 🫂

I don't have much solution, but I'm there with you! My little one is 1 month and went from being so easy and napping during the day to not wanting to nap so she gets super fussy and cries most of the afternoon. She does great in her car seat driving around or in her stroller on walks, so sometimes we put her in her car seat and drive around with her!

Thank you everyone. I have her a warm bath, fed her a bottle and wrapped her in a swaddle. She was better

I feel your pain. My baby loves crying for everything as well and I understand how frustrating can be. You’re doing good mama!
