@hannah thank you! That's really good to hear! Is it the altera one?
Yes that’s the one xx
Nutramigen still contains milk protein. It’s just hydrolyzed to increase the likelihood of baby being able to tolerate it but some still can’t
my little one is on Neocate and he vomits a lot more than he ever did on normal Aptamil anti reflux. How long has your bub been on it for? X
They say it takes 6 weeks for allergy milk to take full effect but honestly if you’re not seeing any improvement within like 3/4 weeks it’s probably not going to be the milk for your little one. Nutramigen still contains milk so it may be you need an amino acid based one like neocate, alfamino or altherea
@Jennifer get a thickener as it’s so thin it’ll help him keep it down xx
@Jennifer just over 2 weeks so reviewing with GP this week. Honestly the only real change is no blood in poo and it's heartbreaking seeing her screaming during feeding
@Natalya I tried carobel and it made him so constipated it was horrible xx
Have you been referred to a dietitian? Yeah, I know, it’s not nice at all. Makes me feel like a sh*tty mother not being able to do much to help him 😓 so I completely get how you feel
My daughter didn’t get on with that one either and had to get the sma one! So far been about 10 days and starting to see improvements xx
