Feeding

My baby is 2 weeks old and constantly looking to be fed, I've been told to responsive feed but if that was the case hed be taking ozs every 2 hours. He is taking 5 Oz and still looking for more, we have moved him onto hungry baby and that isn't working either he is still the same. He is doing hungry ques even after being feed. Anyone similar and have a solution?

Completely normal, it’s a growth spurt and hungry baby formula isn’t the best either, my baby was guzzling 5oz at 2/3 weeks and now is back down to 3.5oz/4 at 5 weeks every 2/3 hours.

Sounds totally normal. My health visitor tried to tell me I was over feeding my wee girl at that age because she was doing the same. I wasn’t over feeding, she was just hungry. They grow so much at that age so it really is normal! So sooooo many people told me to put her onto hungry baby but it’s absolutely not as good as it’s made out to be and can give them an upset tummy. You’d be better to go back to the your normal formula and just feed on demand x

My LB was the exact same 2 weeks old and on about 7oz every 4 hours of hungry baby, this then rapidly went up as he was still hungry to 10oz by 4 months and 11oz by 5 months, the only advise I can give you is if he’s drinking every bottle dry put him up to say 8oz and then you can track when he’s drinking more/ less during the day, you can also then try stretch it to 3 hours in between bottles, I hope this helps x
