Omg i just seen a post about this mom showering with her 13 and 15 year old son.

I feel like at 13 and 15, your children should know how to clean themselves properly by themselves . That is something you start teaching them at a young age.

That’s very different. I wouldn’t shower with my 3 year old daughter. That’s gross af.

I feel like 3 is a little different because it's still a baby, and they may need more help cause they're still learning but after 5-6 i feel like that'd be the cut off? They should know how to clean themselves especially at 13 and 15.

A bathing suit and doing something like coloring hair, yes 100%!! But naked and full on showering? Absolutely not. Kids deserve privacy as soon as they're old enough to start doing things on their own i feel like

This is absolutely crossing of a child’s boundaries, whether they know they should have them or not. I had a parent like this & it (along with other behaviors this type of person would do) has left a lasting impact. Not okay.

I dont bath with my four year old though he walks in the bathroom and pulls back the shower curtain from time to time lol. He has started helping bath himself and he’s still trying to understand that we like to get dressed by ourselves.

I bathe with my 3 year old daughter, but only when I need to wash her hair because she hates it unless I’m in there with her, holding her. I also will shower my 5 year old son when he needs his hair washed, but I wear a bathing suit.

I’m a triplet and my sisters and I still showered together at times until maybe 9 or 10? But if our dad tried to shower with us?? That would have been weird. Our mom was out of the picture for most of childhood. I’ve showered her as an adult because she was recovering from a surgery but even then I was clothed. It would have been weird to shower together.

I agree! My son asked me to stop showering him when he was 6 so I did . That is way too old!
