Is baby on powdered formula? If so, on every other bottle use a “ready made formula” I spoke to my HV when my daughter was newborn because she wasn’t going for a poo and she said it takes a while for the babies stomach to adjust to formula because it’s so thick. Readymade formula is thinner and will soften the poo. We alternated between the both and it really helped! ☺️
I had this when my girl was around 3 weeks old, she went 5 days without pooing and HV said if its anymore than 5 to contact GP, she did it the morning I was going to call them haha
I had this issue when my son was only 3wks old aswell. Doctors told me they tend to usually poo every 2-3 days as they’re still trying to learn how to digest their food.. Personally I wouldn’t be too concerned unless your baby goes 3 or more days without pooping
