Potty training
Anyone starting to potty train having issues with their LO touching their downstairs region? I don’t know how else to get her to stop, I’ve tried giving her snacks, the tv remote, coloring pages and it always ends like this 🥲😓

I think it’s normal. My son isn’t ready for potty training yet since he can’t communicate that he’s got to go but he does touch his privates when he is in the bath or getting changed

We are just beginning, I have found my girl has been more interested in her body. But I just see it as she is learning about her body. We just wash her hands after and talk about how we keep our hands away. They will understand it eventually, but in my mind they need to learn about their body before they can learn to keep hands off. They aren’t at an age that they completely understand it’s unsanitary (especially at a toilet!). I know that’s not really helpful to what you’re asking, but I think if you give it more time and model the way you want her to use the toilet that can help.
