How olds your baby? Personally I wouldn’t worry if it was just one drink but if you wanted to be safe, it takes your blood 1 hour to process 1 unit of alcohol so if you had a drink that was 2 units then you will be fine to breast feed after 2 hours. You don’t necessarily need to pump the milk out as it will leave your system naturally after this time even if you haven’t pumped

You’d basically have to drink yourself dead to cause an issue with breastmilk and alcohol. Enjoy a drink, enjoy a few and you’ll still be fine. No need to pump and dump just feed baby, as long as you can hold them safely obviously.

There are also test strips you can get to test alcohol in breast milk. Personally I’d rather pump and dump because there is no safe level of alcohol to give to babies. But you do what you think is right mama❣️ you got this
