Evaporation line or positive?
Don’t even know where I am in my cycle as only came off the pill couple of months ago.
Left this in the bin after taking yesterday afternoon and pulled it out this morning as wanted to look again and there’s a faint pink line. I assume it’s evaporation?

yeah it's evaporation unfortunately, the same happened to me last week with the same test x
If it didn’t show this line in the timeframe then it’s an evap
Id retest
Negative tests don’t usually turn this positive later on, that’s just not really how they work. I agree you can’t trust this test now after leaving it but I would be shocked if you weren’t actually pregnant so test again and just read and follow the directions carefully for your own peace of mind. As you know even a very faint line is still a line! Good luck!
Retest
I’d retest but when hcg is so little it can take longer to develop a line. I took 3 test . These were pink I left them for about an hour . Then I seen a line develop. I was definitely pregnant

Since it's been a day then it's an evap, sometimes they have color. You can retest in a couple days or make an appointment but I don't think it's positive, you're not supposed to look at tests or trust any lines that show up after the 10 minute mark
