@Latisha she’s 2 years and 5 months x
My little boy is 2 years 4 months and we prompt him to use the potty each time. He’s pretty much dry full time now (in the day) but we do have to tell him when to go into the potty as for wees he won’t tell us yet. He will tell us for poos though. Maybe tell her to use her potty every 45 mins- hour rather than waiting do her to tell you? Then might prompt her to tell you again?
My daughter is 2 years and 4 month and she randomly said potty last week and had her first wee on it, she’ll go an hour nappy free everyday after nursery and she’s only had a wee on it twice, mostly having a wee or poo in the corner of the room ( she always used to have a poo in her nappy in the corner of the room, think it’s like a privacy thing I’m not sure) but she’s aware what the potty is and always gets praised even when she just sits on it. Every child is different and usually it doesn’t happen straight away, it could also be because they’re so used to being in nappy’s it’s a big change for them so they might not remember all the time especially if they’re newly introduced to it x
My daughter is brilliant at home or pretty much when she’s with us. But she seems to have a few accidents at nursery. It’s so frustrating. She’s never pooped in her pants at home but she’s done it twice at nursery! We only started potty training over the Easter weekend so it’s still early days though. She’s doing quite well, considering
@Kate I do try and prompt her but want her to learn the feeling so she can tell us as when she goes to nursery they can’t constantly prompt her x
How old is your little one please, I’m just starting to introduce this myself.
