@Grace thank you I’ve popped the cabbage in the freezer!! So an opportunity presented itself 😂 I’ve had a tickly cough so I’ve been sleeping elsewhere (baby sleeps in our bed)! And she’s been sleeping through the night without me there! So then I thought, let’s just go for it. I’ve not slept in our bed for 3 nights now and she hasn’t fed since, with nap time I’ve just taken her in the car! She hasn’t asked for it once xx
@Hollie this is what I did with my eldest and yes it is so helpful isn't it. Glad it meant your transition was smooth! My partner works nights now 🤦 so I haven't got that luxury this time round x
Sorry but can I ask how is your little one doing ? I went cold. Turkey for 16h then gave in My LG didn’t stop crying and starting banging her head in the wall asking for it … Wander if they all get crazy about it
@Louma oh bless you that sounds rough. To be honest I’m so shocked she’s been ok, she hasn’t fed since Saturday evening. My husband has been amazing and I couldn’t have weaned her without him. He’s doing bath and bed time and staying with her till she’s asleep c
Frozen cabbage leaves!! The ones with the big leaves. Make no plans as you'll stink 😂 but really does help. I did this with my eldest. How did you manage going cold turkey. I've managed to do this in the day but I'm really struggling doing this at bedtime and in the night. He screams and gets really angry xx
