@Laura (Lor) yeah it was the same for us, even when we got home we used ready mades because my mother in law brought loads😅 we went doctors because he was so constipated he would scream for ages, and then would scream when pooing so got given lactulose he also referred us, then he was crying for 3 days because he hadn’t pooed for 3 days so took him urgent care and got given movicol, but then the referral come through to see a paediatrician and she gave us the milk to rule out a allergy
But when she was doing a check list like is he sick does he have a rash/eczema they where all no.. so don’t understand wish I asked More questions
In hospital they’re on ready made? I’m guessing it was the same for you? If so ready made has laxatives in it so it will make them go more often. once at home and on powdered it bungs them up. Our boy was the same. We had to do half ready made and half powder bottles to slowly introduce the powdered formula. As he was suffering with constipation too. They weren’t really fussed about his constipation as wasn’t showing any other signs so wondering why your doctor had said your little one has CMPA if no other symptoms x
