Potty Training

Hello. Little boy is 2.5 showing signs, is ready to go. I’ve got a 9 month old also and I’ll be honest I am constantly out and about walks etc. Has anyone got any advice for doing it with a 9 month old baby also? I was thinking it’s nice this week so set the potty up in the garden and just pop his pants on and a tshirt and for the next 3 days hammer it. Just a little anxious and I’ll be honest keep putting it off! Let me know any tips or advice please!!

We are exactly in the same phase . He is 2.5 and my baby girl is 9 months .i keep asking him every 30 min, same at nursery . Is going very well so far . his potty is regularly in the living so he can see it anytime . Whenever we are at garden we take it with us. Try to seat him first thing in the morning and every time before u go out to skip the accidents . Good luck !!!

Aw thank you so much!! Can I ask, if you go out to the park etc? What do you do? I don’t know whether to buy a portable potty but where I stay it is constantly so busy and very open! But I don’t want to lock myself in for the next few days. Very stuck!

We've got a My Carry Potty as we're always out and about too and that's been a game changer for us!

We just potty trained my boy I set aside a few days in half term done 2 days bare bum then pants then all clothes We started with little walks about and gradually got more we just took the potty everywhere and made sure to tell him to ask if he needs to go also made sure he went before we left home He is my youngest Don't rush or push them or they won't do it and will regress

Just potty trained my daughter and gave a 5 month old. Did have its challenges - my toddler loved to decide to wee all over the floor while I was breastfeeding! But got there in the end - must haves are puppy peepads for car and pushchair and a portable potty xx
