Feeding less
Is anyone else going through the same? My baby is 6 weeks old and yesterday and today she’s been eating a bit less than usual. She’s formula fed, and usually has 4.5oz every 3 hours and 5oz just before bed, however, last night and tonight she’s only had 3oz before bed and doesn’t want anymore and then at 4am she’s also had 2oz instead of 4.5?

At 6 weeks, they go through a growth spurt so their feeding might be off. They might want more or less than useless. My daughter is nearly 6 weeks and she’s cluster feeding atm x
I have no idea in ounces I'm afraid as I'm ebf, but my baby is 6w5d & the last few days she has only fed 6 or 7 times per day instead of her usual 8. Not sure if it's their age or just the weather suddenly getting warmer or something x
It’s normal. My son was like this 2 weeks ago, when I had my HV check she said it’s fine, as long as he was putting weight on and doing loads of wet nappies still. Even if they are small amounts it should be fine. But you can ask your HV for advice and they will give you some tips. Hope this helps x
