Screaming toddler

My 17 month old is currently recovering from chicken pox she was sent home from nursery last Tuesday with them and came out covered on Wednesday last week but they are all scabbed over now (I thought it was due to this) however since last Thursday she has screamed murder when it’s time for bed and ends up getting herself in a right state, hyperventilating from crying etc, even if we’re still in the room as soon as we take her out the room she is fine and stops, does anyone have any tips? I’m wondering what is going on with her but I can’t keep doing this every night 😫

I don’t have any advice. But I feel a lot of solidarity for what is going on. I send you strength through this time. If you need to vent, send me a message

I’m sorry you’re going through this. But maybe it’s because I’m in the US, but how did she even get chicken pox? Wasn’t she vaccinated ? Not a jab at you. I’m just genuinely curious because there’s a measles outbreak where I’m at due to many not being vaccinated and spreading it.

@Yasmine chicken pox is really common in the UK in young children but can be dangerous if you get it as an adult. They have only just come out with a chicken pox vaccine here it never existed before x
