Potty training

I don’t know how helpful this will be but when I potty trained my daughter I somewhat did the naked method with some tweaks. For the first few days she didn’t have anything on and I gave her so much liquid that she would essentially pee herself. When she started to pee I picked her up and put her on the toilet. That way she would associate peeing with the toilet and not in a diaper. I didn’t want to do rewards because sometimes those don’t work

We needed to potty train our son July 2023 cause he was entering a 3K program in Aug & he needed to be potty trained. We did it over a weekend. Similar to above-we gave him lots of liquids and let him run around naked or w/underwear- absolutely no diapers unless it was bedtime. We took him to try potty about every hour or when he started peeing on himself. I think he had never truly realized what his body was doing before because of the diaper. Every time he peed, he looked down amazed at the pee coming out of his body & we explained to him what was happening & why we needed to potty. We used a reward system (stickers). We started Friday morning & were ready to give up on Sunday cause we thought it wasn’t working but that evening something just clicked in him & he asked to use the potty. He went #1 & 2 & we’ve never looked back. He still has accidents now & again but now he can also go all night without an accident. Hope this helps & good luck! It can be hard but you got this!!
