My baby girl is 19 months, recently she developed a severe flare of eczema on her face , chin , next to her lips and next to her nostrils
It bothers her all the time, she wants to itch it , I tried prescribed cortisone cream, it made it almost disappear after a week of daily use , but as soon as I stopped,it came back worse than it was
I am so sad and broken because of this she had the most beautiful face now it's heartbreaking to see her suffer, and I feel like such a failure
Please if you have anything that worked, I want natural stuff that would work , like how can help her from inside, make her digestive system stronger so she can have a stronger skin barrier, I bought lanolin oil but it kinda burns her
I also bought baby hibou creams , but they don't do much.
I am worried if I keep using the cortisone it will make her eczema worse I've seen so many cases of people becoming super sensitive and having very severe eczema because of it.
It looks like in the picture and it got triggered by her teething because she is drooling too much.

How are you doing? The steroids won’t help. Hopefully you aren’t in topical steroid withdrawal (it can happen after a week or two of using steroids).
