My toddler is just getting over her sleep regression and I damn near lost my mind. I don’t have as many kids so I can’t imagine how drained you must feel but I would suggest focusing meals around things that have natural melatonin and stuff like that Melatonin-rich foods like cherries, nuts (almonds, walnuts), and dairy products contain melatonin, a hormone that regulates sleep. Tryptophan-rich foods like dairy, turkey, and eggs can help increase serotonin, a neurotransmitter that promotes relaxation and sleep. Carbohydrates like oatmeal, whole wheat bread, and sweet potatoes can further enhance the effects of tryptophan. Additionally, foods high in potassium and magnesium, such as bananas, sweet potatoes, and leafy green vegetables, can help relax muscles and promote sleep
@jayna i definitely need to keep up with this. I would give some cherry juice at night in hopes it would work but half the time i feel like it didn't. Maybe i just need to keep it up! ❤️❤️❤️ thank you!!
My heart goes out to you mamas. It’s stressful but you got this. I don’t have twins but have 2 babies that are 16 months apart. The 2022 baby was colicky and would not stop crying. She still is very like a ticking time bomb. Just try to relax when you can to recharge. Listen to music that helps uplift you. Take a quick 2 seconds in the bathroom. Always here if you need to vent. Us moms need to stick together. Takes a village to raise children
