Job help

I've been a stay at home mom for 2years because of my son having issues in the beginning. I really need and want to work but not even a food service job is calling me back. I'd like something remote and non 1099. I'm struggling relying on my ex and not able to do anything for myself it feels like. I apply to 15 jobs minimum daily. Please anyone help.

Check out home childcare!

I wouldn't even know where to begin since I'm getting ebt and renting. I have no background in child care.

What does ebt mean? If you are renting, you need permission from the owners. Check out home based childcare near you. Look into their criteria.

I'm on food assistance. (Ebt) so any income change would mean I'd loose it. The property management would not allow childcare in home/running a business.

No experience is needed.

Keep applying. You don't need all the jobs. It only takes one. Good luck. 🍀❤️

@Bonny I'm just defeated because I can't even get McDonald's to hire me. I have a weird coparent set up and I just can't keep going like this.

I agree. Don't give up. Keep applying for jobs. Maybe studying could be an option. This might open some doors.

You can have an income and still get EBT, TANF or other benefits. Each state lays out the income limits by number of persons in your household. You can google yours. Can you do deliveries like Grubhub, etc.? House cleaning? Just a couple ideas.

I'm in the same boat I've been looking for jobs but I haven't heard from anyone 😭 I have an engineering bachelor and masters at mathematics. I've been told that the job market is tough right now that those with 15+ years experience who got laid off are applying to entry level jobs

In my area if I made even 1,000 a month I'd loose my ebt because I'm getting financial assistance from my ex(who is paying everything directly) Ebt and other assistance I'd not cut and dry every situation getting the same treatment sadly. Google will not give you the correct information because it isn't just off of number of people. Eligibility is off of income level. Amount given if Eligible due to hardship situation is by household size. In my area no one is taking people cleaning I've been trying. We only have 2 food delivery and I'd make maybe $30-$100 in two weeks if I did it from 8am-3am so I'd make my gas money back that's it an have a 2year old stuck in a car for hours at a time daily which is not acceptable. Believe me I have walked into old jobs and begged for jobs. Places don't have openings. I can't do as much manual labor after my pregnancy complications.
