Help with soothing teething pain

Hey Mums!! My 5month old boy has just started teething like crazy, and honestly, I think I’ve gone partially deaf from all the fussing he does when he’s trying to bite on something (I’m joking but sometimes it feels like that 😭). He has SO MANY teething toys that work great, but he really struggles to hold them for long or even get them into his mouth. It’s like every two minutes he drops one, and we’re back to crying. I keep finding myself having to stop whatever I’m doing just to pop the toy back in his mouth — it’s a never-ending cycle. He also uses a pacifier, but even that doesn’t seem to satisfy him. I’ve tried Bonjela, paracetamol, and even resorted to letting him gnaw on my finger. I just don’t know what else to do to ease his frustration while he’s teething. Do I just ride it out, or does anyone have any advice from going through the same thing? Please help! ❤️😭

Ashton &palmer teething powder worked like a total miracle for mine, it’s all natural and just gives a numbing sensation and really helps with teething, you can order it on Amazon for about £5 and you get loads of sachets , honestly don’t know what I would have done without it xx

Hylands teething tablets. WONDERFUL GOD SEND Cold carrot sticks, pineapple cores and green onion

We used baby bonjela as well. Good luck, it was a tough old time for my LG so I feel your pain!

Mommy bliss gel (all natural) or just Tylenol

Calpol/nurofen or gel was only things for us! My sister swears by teething powder unfortunately my daughter reacted to it so couldnt use it:(

I got those fruit popsicles and would take a small bites off and give to my little one - I don’t know if you have a teething necklace but I would stay away from those as a friend of mine lost her one year old who strangled himself with one 🥺

Gengival teething gel

Wellements teething oil!!!!

Wella teething powder! Absolute godsend!

saving!! feel better soon bohdi!!

My son really likes a wet wash cloth that I put in the fridge or freezer so it's cold. Both the pediatrician and the pediatric dentist recommended doing that. Boiron camilia teething drops have also been helpful. If that doesn't help we have used Tylenol for the really bad days or if it's keeping him up at night. Also, attaching a teething toy to a pacifier clip might help so that he can get his toy himself. I have a silicone pacifier clip that my son loves to chew on.

Calgel is amazing!

@Shannon I second this and even the balm liquid they do is amazing x

I have gave my son Motrin and for his teething I had gave him a pacifier that he likes really cold I put it in the freezer and gave it to him when he would cry.

A muslin cloth soaked in water - wring it out and put it in the freezer. My LO loved gnawing away at it while teething!
