Splinter
How do you get a splinter out of a young toddler’s finger.
I have no idea if I managed to get it or not but now he won’t let me check cause I imagine it hurts a bit. His whole finger tip was red 😞 so it must have happened yesterday

calpol syringe! put the tip of the syringe over the splinter and pull the syringe to draw it out of the skin x works every time!
Isnt there potential for infection if you ignore me? But yeah I second the Calpol syringe
Calpol syringe is clever! Will have to remember that one. I have a tool in my nail kit that I used. It has like a tiny metal loop at the end. Basically put it on the finger so the splinter was in the loop, press and slide.
@Chlo I tried that before but it either didn’t work or he wasn’t still enough for me

My son loses his ever loving mind when he gets a splinter so now we’ve learned to just ignore it and hope it makes its way out, if not you can get creams that draw them out
