I've done a combo of purees with some BLW. Carrot- made sticks & purees Broccoli & potato similar I've also bought pouches of fruit, pear & apples so they've just been ready to go in the morning. Will switch to fruit at some point but convenience wins atm
I’ve only given her purées. So far I’ve given her the following: • potato and broccoli • carrots • avocado • sweet potato and broccoli • potato and garlic • oats, banana and blueberries • banana • grapes/blueberries/apple in a fruit feeder • broccoli, courgette and avocado (she hated this one but tbf it tasted like grass! 🤣) I might try overnight oats next.

@Lisa I’ve got a baby food maker but I know some people use a nutri bullet or hand blender and cook the food on the hob
My 6 month old isn’t quite ready for BLW yet so we’ve started on purées. So far he’s had carrot, broccoli, squash, sweet potato, parsnip, blueberry with natural greek yoghurt, porridge, banana, cauliflower and avocado. We have been on and off offering finger food like cucumber, strawberries and melty puffs and keeping an eye on when he shows better signs of managing himself. Xx
